Fantini Sangiovese 750ml
Italy's Fantini Wines is based in Abruzzo's Terre di Chieti foothills, where sangiovese thrives. Modern in style, this velvety wine has floral aromas of toast, licorice, dark fruit and juniper. Its flavours of ripe dark fruit, spice and smoke. Pair with your favourite pasta dish or with braised short ribs.
Kitchissippi Radler, 473ml canned beer (3%25ABV)
Radler first became popular in 1922 in the town of Deisenhofen, Germany. The beverage was an instant favourite with the local cyclists travelling from Munich. 40 years prior, Ottawa's first bicycles were imported in 1882 from England at a price of $300 each by George A. Mothers ill, founder of the Ottawa Bicycle club, the oldest and one of the largest clubs in Canada. We first made this beer in 2014 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Pub Italia.

The inspiration for this pilsner comes from the Cheshire cat pub in Carp.

The Ottawa River was part of the pathway for much of the early exploration of North America. In the 1600s, the fur trade sowed the seeds for European settlement along the river with its trading posts stationed between Lake Temiskaming and Montreal. This beer is a pale, straw coloured Bavarian Lager. Brewed with German noble hops and a genuine Munich yeast. This is a classic example of the session beers enjoyed in Bavarian beer gardens. The beer has a clean malt flavour with a slight hop presence.

Ethiopia Sidamo City Roast
Mild single origin fair trade organic coffee. Floral and fruity with characteristics of dried apricot notes. Not a bold coffee though far from boring.
Mexico Dark Roast
This Fair Trade single origin coffee is a high grown french roast with a bold flavour. Smokey but bright. Not overpowering but definitely a bold flavour for those who like body in their cup.
Peru Decaf
Decaf single origin fair trade organic. This viennese roast has a medium-bold flavour that can work well as an espresso. Some floral notes. Swiss Water decaffeination gives a clean flavour and nice bright notes.

My husband and I went to Stella Luna for an evening treat and drinks. My tea was excellent and my husband enjoyed his pumpkin spice. The service was also impressive, very kind staff, responsive and helpful.My only complaint was that the desert we ordered, which was a chocolate peanut butter cake in their display, tasted very obviously stale and quite old. We did not enjoy the cake at all. It was very dry and just tasted “off”, which was so disappointing. We end it up having...

Wonderful, ever-changing selection of yummy food at either location. Whether you pick up frozen take home or in store yummy treats, something in this store is for you. Don't forget to check out the shelves, there is always something to pick up, either for yourself or as a gift. I always go to Spaniels tale book store in Hintonburg, then stop off here for a treat while I read my book. Or I go to the gallery across the street from the Bank street location.
