The food quality, presentation, preparation and flavors are always great at Stofa. I always enjoy the change of menu and being surprised by chef choices. Unfortunately we were rushed to finish and leave. Twice we were told they needed the table. It's a table for four. We were not even offered coffee or anything else. Here are your coats and your $1078.00 bill. Yes it's been 2.5 hours enjoying the five course meal and wine pairing. Unacceptable behavior and the bad table management shouldn't be passed on to customers.

OMG, such an amazing restaurant - everything was really perfect. They were able to easily take account of my gluten allergy, they worked around other requirements, and of course the food tasted amazing! The service was so good, perfectly timed (Bogdan was incredible) ... what more can I say, but you should try it.

Did the 5-course tasting menu and it was delicious! The mushroom soup is one of the best things I've ever eaten and I'm not usually a big mushroom fan. Cocktails were unique and inspired and our server had great wine recommendations. This place pays attention to the little details and really makes you feel cared for. Prepare to stay a while if you're doing a multi-course meal but you won't want to leave because the space is so beautiful and relaxing.

The 3 course menu was very filling, and I truly have no idea how someone could eat the 5 course menu unless they were voraciously hungry. That being said, I would be willing to push myself there considering how wonderful it all was.

We had an absolutely wonderful anniversary dinner here. The entire experience was exceptional. The food was truly flawless: rich layers of flavour, surprising yet perfectly balanced combinations, and a starter that was unbelievably refreshing and appetizing. Even the bread was the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The sides paired with the mains were thoughtful and creative, not the usual combinations but perfectly delightful.Food is a solid 10/10.
But what touched us the most was the service. Because we were celebrating our anniversary, the team surprised us with so many small gestures: two kinds of after meal chocolates and candies, a handwritten card from the chef. Absolutely 100% recommended. Easily the best fine dining experience in Ottawa.
