This was not our first visit here but will be our very last. The food, as always is delicious. Unfortunately, the service is beyond amateur. We had a reservation for 6 people and arrived on time. They sat us promptly and gave us water. Then, a disappearing act took over. We sat there over 30 minutes and only because I asked if we could order drinks did some one come over. Than we were told to also order our food as we did. I had order an antipasto to have but it came out with the order. We ate , the server came back to check on us after 5 mins and again a disappearing act. We finished and sat there for another 20 mins with our plates empty and our drinks dry. Only because I had to grab someone's attention did they come.
What is most frustrating is the entire night servers walked by our table and everytime I tried to get their attention, their eyes couldn't the ceiling any faster.
I'm sorry, but when you are spending an average of 25 bucks a plate, a little attention would be nice.
Dal Piacere I am sorry you guys can't figure this out but my advice is that if you are going to continue with this service, perhaps drop each price by 10 bucks or hire more help.

I was really disappointed with my recent order. The pizza arrived with a hole in the middle, was stuck to the cardboard box, and parts of it were burned. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enjoyable to eat at all.

There’s a reason why on a Wednesday night this place was pretty busy with patrons. The pictures do not do the food justice, the pizza was very good, the server was very friendly and the tiramisu was immaculate. The prices were also very reasonable, my house lager was $6.25 and the pizzas were in the $15-25 range for the a 15” pizza. The pizzas were also cooked perfectly, I think Dave Portnoy would enjoy this place quite a bit, I would definitely return here.

We went to Del Piacere with friends for dinner last night. We had a great time and the food was awesome. I had a calzone and my better half had pizza. My calzone was extremely tasty and quite filling. I couldn’t finish it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. We’ll go back next time we are in Ottawa.

This place was phenomal - food was excellent and flavourful, true reminder of my nonnas food from back in Italy … BUT what made the experience unforgettable was Mike the red head’s PRISTINE service and RADIANT energy. Will be coming back for sure. Worth mentioning, the lemon gelato is TO DIE FOR.

This place serves truly authentic Sicilian pizza and calzone, with dough that’s perfectly cooked in a wood-fired oven. Rich flavors, great texture, and a taste that takes you straight to Sicily
I tried their spaghetti carbonara. It was delicious and felt very traditional. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the generous shavings of parmesan added the perfect finishing touch.

Just ordered for the first time from here and wow - disappointed that it took me this long! Perfectly crisp Italian style pizza, and the Genovese was amazing on a hot summer day. The pesto was incredible, and the tiramisu for desert was a great portion for two (or even three). Will 100% be ordering more often. Reasonably priced and the quality is there. Thank you!

This place takes forever to give out your food. Customer service is okay but could be better. Wouldn't recommend going there to eat though.
