I was very disappointed with my recent order from this location. The most serious issue was finding a hair inside the food, which is completely unacceptable and raises concerns about basic hygiene standards.
I have worked in the restaurant industry for almost two years, and I understand how important food safety and cleanliness are. During my time in the industry, I have never received a single complaint about hygiene because I know how essential it is to maintain proper standards. Experiencing this as a customer was genuinely upsetting.
I hope this location takes this feedback seriously and reviews their hygiene practices, because customers deserve safe, clean, and properly prepared food.

Starting from the top: the customer service here is exceptional. The staff don’t just make small talk; they actually care — asking about your day and chatting in a genuine way that makes you feel valued as a customer.
They’re also very generous with their portions. I’ve worked at Subway before, so I know exactly how much cheese and how many veggies you’re technically supposed to put on a sandwich — and how stingy some locations can be. But not here. This team adds the perfect amount of everything — exactly how much you ask for, which is exactly what Subway should be about. Sauces? Done right — two proper lines, no shortcuts, no stinginess, no negativity whatsoever.
And can we talk about the freshness? I don’t know if I caught them right after a restock or if they just keep their ingredients that fresh all the time, but those veggies were farm-fresh. You could literally see the moisture glistening on the onions and peppers — perfection.

This is the best Subway in the city imo and trust me I've been to at least 15 different ones in Ottawa. Starting from the top, the customer service, enquiring about your day and not just small talk, conversing like they mean it and want to build genuine connection with their clientele. Very generous with their cheese and vegetable portions. I've worked at Subway before and ik how much you're technically supposed to add on each sandwich and how stingy most of these branches are. This branch, however, added a LOT of veggies, exactly how much you ask for, exactly how it should be and what Subway stands for. They added proper amount of sauces as well, two full lines as it should be. Not over bit of stinginess, not one bit of negativity. Also, idc if it's the start of a shift or if I caught them at a lucky hour when they just did replacements, but their vegetables were home no goddamn farm fresh, I could see the moisture in those freshly sliced onions and peppers. Kudos to the whole management team and the sandwich artists to implement and maintain the systems. My only mistake was to forget to ask for the names of the two gentlemen to add it to my review, but I hope the manager/ owner sees my review and this date to track back and recognise who were working at 5p.m. today. They fully deserve the highest percentage of tip and more, I shall be back here regularly and tip them graciously as they fully deserve that. My best Subway experience in the past 3-4 years I must say (in and out of Ottawa). Oh and don't forget to be on the lookout for their home deals and specials for sandwiches and combos! Edit: Mit and Divya are two lads who are specially amazing, hard working and courteous. Keep up the good work!

I got scammed & overcharged : they proposed me to get bacon and did not tell me that it would cost more just for 6 small piece of bacon on a 12 inch sandwich.
Only told me afterwards when I asked why the sandwich cost an extra 5$
