My husband and I just enjoyed our 29th wedding anniversary here tonight. The house fresh bread to start was simply outstanding. For the shared apps we had the tuna and also the steak with crisps to start. Unbelievable! Then the cod fish and duck for the mains. The chocolate mousse was without a doubt the most epic well portioned and unbeatable flavoured dessert we’ve ever had. The staff and servers were fantastic. If you’re looking for a quiet spot this isn’t it by any stretch of the imagination. But the food, flavours, staff, and presentation WOW! Thank you for a beautiful evening.

Second time dining here, didn’t love the food first time around but tried again. Overall the food was just good but not great, it was nice meal that missed the mark in a couple dishes. The drinks were great though and the service was friendly. Good atmosphere too.

The dishes: The beef tartare was too cheese forward, didn’t feel the cheese really belonged. The brine of the capers was great and the bites with less cheese were a standout.

The crudo was pretty solid. Liked the cut on the tuna and the puffed rice. It’s a very classic style crudo so hard to complain at all here.

The bacon and cabbage dish wasn’t my favourite as the bacon was done more ham-style, but my fiancée liked that a lot so if you like ham then should be a safe bet. We both agreed though again the cheese was too much with this dish - far too heavy and disrupted the balance of the dish.

The baked Alaska we were excited to try this time around but that was the biggest miss of the night. The cream cheese gelato was very forward, it’s really all you could taste in every bite. The ginger cake base a bit dry and lacking on the ginger. Or was it the cream cheese flavour taking away from the ginger? Unsure but it was a big letdown.

Absolutely superb.
Words almost fail at attempting to describe the subtle, unique and delicious flavours of every dish.
The mafaldine verde with duck ragu main dish was simply exquisite.
And wonderful service from Sarah. She recommended a natural red Québec wine which was perfect.
Thanks very much, Supply & Demand for an unforgettable dining experience!

It’s alright, my dish was quite salty, and the food and services don’t reflect the price.

First time trying supply and demand after seeing it on the list of top 100 restaurants in Canada and it absolutely did not disappoint! The service, food and atmosphere were all outstanding. We had a dozen of the fresh oysters which were so fresh and delicious! The tuna crudo was so good we actually ordered it twice, and the sweet corn and mascarpone agnolotti dish was to die for! We finished off with the roast duck and baked Alaska! If you are in the Ottawa area you absolutely must try this divine little spot! 10/0
