Now I been to this place about 5 times, dined twice. My experience with the food is good! However, The service and ambiance, not feeling it, the location of the place is not great especially for parking options. It's lacking class, I didn't like the fact that I had to go downstairs via elevator in basement to use bathroom. It's not vibrant, the staff mannerism is just lacking! I never get checked on or asked how my dining experience is going. There is no connection...
As a Nigerian myself, I have had my fair share of egusi, but this is the most bland, oily egusi I have ever had. It was white and tasted like raw palm oil. I had such high hopes especially since the food was $36 for the egusi and poundo. I really am disappointed for a Nigerian restaurant.
Excellent Nigerian food and atmosphere at this location. The food is somewhat spicy personally however, the spice levels could be too much for people who don’t normally eat spicy food. I recommend getting a split of the Suya and Chicken. Portions are amazing and drinks are on the house. Plantains, Jollof rice and coleslaw are all included with a Suya platter creating great value for the $30 (15% tip included) thay you’ll be spending!
