I’ve been going to SuzyQ for over 10 years with my family. Love the donuts so much that I would ignore the bad service. Today I had the usual poor service but a very awkward interaction with 2 young girls at the cash who had no communication skills and were more interested in whispering to each other than servicing the clients. I’m so saddened by SuzyQ customer service. For such wonderful donuts, the staff leave a bad taste in your mouth. Hoping SuzyQ levels up their customer service.

Yesterday I went and got donuts and I was honestly very disappointed. The texture was off, usually there is a fluffiness to the dough but it was not there. The donuts were very oily and the taste of the oil was very strong. They didn’t seem fresh even though I bought them at around 12:30pm which common sense means that they should be fresh. The dirty Chocolate for example, the topping looked very dry and stuck to the dough. The dough on the Brampton Cream was yellow for some reason. I was very disappointed and dissatisfied with my visit.

Normally they are great, little expensive but quality and size make up for it......however! Pre ordered valentines donuts and when I picked them up they are literally half size and they charged more for them.
Maximize profits on a hallmark holiday i guess, very dissapointed.

This is the branch to get Dirty Chocolate because the one in downtown always seem to ran out, or maybe going there 1 hour before closing time was a bad idea. Parking is also plenty and have direct access to highway.

But, i've been going here a lot lately and the quality is very much the same with what they have in downtown. Drinks are okay, nothing specific to comment.

As someone who travels a lot between Ottawa and Montreal, sure the latter has its own fancy donuts but personally i think SuzyQ beats them all (so far).

I wanted to try some original donuts, in the end it was okay but not wow, I expected better at $25 for 6 donuts.
Blackcurrant raspberry: no blackcurrant taste.
The Earl grey: no bergamot taste.
Cinnamon very very good.
Very good salted caramel.
Chocolate: very average and in addition I asked for an old-fashioned donut and the rather simple young man gave me chocolate which was too roasted.

Complicated services, they are 3 employees but take one order at a time; It's long.
I wouldn't come back.

Food is ok but service is really bad. Dec 24, 2024, there was a guy who has can't speak, can't smile and has zero customer service basically he is not happy being there. The company should hire friendly staff who can speak with their customers because that was my last time visiting this store.
Shame on the owner of this location not training their staff.

Good doughnuts! The price is understandable considering the retail storefront. Its a shame that there is nowhere to sit and enjoy a coffee and a bespoke doughnut.

I frequently purchase dozens of donuts from both Suzy Q and Maverick as promotional gifts for my clients, typically spending several hundred dollars per visit. While the quality of the donuts is consistently good, I can’t help but wonder if the owner is aware of the attitude of their staff.

Over the past four months, I’ve visited the store 5–6 times, and each time I’ve been met with unfriendly service. The staff consistently give off the impression that they have more important things to do, and there’s a noticeable lack of warmth or customer engagement. I haven’t seen a single smile and I can’t help but feel that my purchase is keeping them from the much better plans they have.

It’s disappointing because I always start the exchange in a good mood, I’m looking forward to surprising my clients and making them smile; and dour looks and grim expressions make me feel that maybe I should just skip it and go somewhere else.

I’ve been here twice and my food is always handled in a on-the-edge manner.

The first time the cashier hit the cup for tip off the counter when she threw the pos machine at me to let me pay, I kindly picked the coins up but she just stood there like I supposed to pick them up.

The second time, I simply asked to switch to a different doughnut before she put the doughnut in the box but immediately upset the staff that she literally threw the box at me when done. I even asked friendly if each one is priced differently to accommodate the situation because I didn’t see any price tag on each item, however, I didn’t get an answer but got a lot of attitude instead.

Also, they didn’t refund or mention the price difference as I switched from a $5 doughnut to $4.2 one.

Awful.

I normally order from the Robertson Road location which is amazing but I accidentally ordered from St Laurent and the doughnuts were stale. I’m shocked because this hacks never happened before at the Westend location so wonder if they’re not as vigilant here. When you’re paying like $8 a doughnut the minimum expectation should be that they are fresh. Just wanted to share that feedback to anyone considering ordering at this location. Maybe check what time they were make last.

I couldn't agree more with a review someone left a couple of days ago. We have been visiting 2 to 4 times a year for 8 years now and donuts are GREAT each and every time.

HOWEVER... customer service is consistently bad. I've had exactly the same experience over the years: the employees really make you feel like you're keeping them from other things they have to do. They're very cold and unfriendly.

To the owner: we love your donuts. You care, you love what you do and it shows in your product 100%. But you really have to do something about people working behind the counter.

These donuts are absolutely not worth the price! The staff was underwhelming. You're better off going to the Latin market down the mall if you want something sweet.

Clean store with plenty of selection of donuts and beverages. I was waiting for an errand at a neighboring store to be complete and was very happy that I decided to go on to the Suzy Q there. Very friendly staff there recommended the salted caramel latte instead of just the normal latte, after we had a chat about how they normally worked at a different Suzy Q location.

I also got the pumpkin spice cream donut, which I would recommend as well. This place always has some pretty out there donut flavors, but they have a way of making them taste excellent.

Parking: Open parking lot shared with other businesses.

Wheelchair accessibility: Store is at-grade with sidewalk outside store.
