My second favorite chicken themed restaurant. Unfortunately my favorite is based in Quebec only, but having said that I often frequent the place when they have their Christmas specials which are off the scale

Another bad food experience in Ottawa . Why are we surprised. So lets see our 1/4 chicken white meals were mediocre to say the least. My son’s chicken breast was dry hard , chewy , difficult to swallow, his turkey stuffing was mush, soggy, clump of wetness from too much liquid . It was anemic in colour like baby poo. There was 1 tsp if cranberry sauce no joke , the instant mashed potatoes were bland and the dinner roll stale. Oh and his pumpkin pie crust was stale inedible hard as a rock, he ate the filling only. Same went for my dinner. The waitress did not apologize! She offered a free slice of pie instead . I chose lemon. The geletin had not thickened enough and it was not pleasant to eat that texture. I left it half eaten. We’re down to one Swiss Chalet on Innes that still turns out quality food like Swiss Chalet was once known for. Stay away from Carling and Conroy. I feel sorry for seniors like me on a pension wasting money - $50 wasted. We like the comfort of the classic booths and diner menu but don’t appreciate not being fed with better quality food. Back to St Hubert.
