Thai Express Restaurant Ottawa

I just ordered the chicken curry dish and it was disgusting. I brought it home to have and the chicken was like rubber. I couldn't even eat it. The curry sauce had no flavor at all and very few vegetables. Needless to say it went in the garbage!

If I could put negative stars I would, I was really hungry and was craving basil fried rice, I love Thai express, anytime I go there the man gets my order and he’s really nice but the lady firstly was rushing me, I told her what I wanted and she was screaming at me if I was sure of what I wanted and she then told me to point at the screen and pick a number, at this point everyone was staring at me in the food court and I was under the pressure to pick a number, I picked the one closest to my order in the description, when I got my order it wasn’t what I wanted at all, I spent close to $30 on this and when I asked her to please help me fix it, she started screaming at me and shouting that she can’t and that she asked me what I wanted 5 times, btw she was on her phone and got mad because I told her it’s not what I wanted, a passerby had to calm her down then she said she’ll fix it, when I got it back again, it was the exact same food with just oil in it to change the Color, no seasoning at all. It was horrible and embarrassing for me, I wish she handled it differently and not embarrass me in public like that. Don’t go there if the lady is working and on her phone.

I have come here twice and both times were terrible. I was giving it a shot that the first time was just a bad day. The food was not cooked. The noodles were hard, there was no taste at all. To pay $20 for Beef Pad Thai and the waiting. My coworker and I waiting 15min just to order and there was one person in front of us. On a lunch rush there shouldnt be just one person working. The other location I normally go to on Baseline near the walmart is quick, cooked and the same everytime you go.

The Pad thai was very tasty. It just needs a bit more of other veggies like carrots, maybe.

I ordered the Pad Sew with beef and I didn't find any beef at all, not one bit. Just paid 20$ for a box of noodles with sauce.Update: Thai Express reached out and reimbursed me. A very kind way of making it up. Much appreciated! I will give Thai express another shot. Thanks.

the older gentleman that works here is the best Thai express cook (chef in this instance) in Ottawa hands down. this is what the chain is meant to be.

ordered Pad this hereand after paying I received the food I found that it was incomplete I asked the lady about it she said she didn't have all the ingredients!!!.. this is the 2nd time in a month pattern, this brand and this place failing, never again will I spend my time ans money here or even ar Orleans Location.

Was at Carlington Mall today and wanted to order some lunch BUT the server was on her phone and too busy to take my order. And she was spitting food as she answered but did not even have enough sense to even look up at me. I left - as did other potential customers. Terrible - will never try them again.

I ordered fried rice, and i asked for medium spicy, but when i went home and started eating rice it was bland, no taste at all. On top of that it was so oily. Won’t going to back this location.

Pad Thai tasted only like fish oil for some reason and had zero taste beyond that. Spent over $44 for two people. Won’t be going back to that location.

I’ve been going to this location for a year now. I get the mini Tom-yum soup with shrimp. It’s under $8, and it’s worth every cent. Made before your eyes, and it tastes so good. Best lunch deal around!
