The Barley Mow Stittsville Reviews
I like taking my daughter to the Barley Mow (stittsville is our go to but almonte is a favorite drive)... We went tonight. Dinner for 2 plus 2 non alcoholic drinks (I was driving us) came to $44 taxes in. We go there all the time so I gave a nice tip. The owner/manager and staff are amazing. And the new menu *(after covid limited menu) is really fantastic. We are trying something new every time. Tonight I tried chicken tacos and she had a huge bowl of poutine. Both were amazing....read full review
Andrea D is simply wonderful!!
Great food and even better service. Bartender Andrea Dakers never misses a beat and it’s always a perfect time when she is working.

Based on the reviews, The Barley Mow Stittsville is a great neighbourhood pub with a relaxed, lively atmosphere, good for catching up with friends or watching a game. The food is solid across the board, with excellent burgers, juicy burgers, crispy fries, and amazing pulled pork sliders. The Philly Cheesesteak and Nashville Spicy Chicken sandwich were both excellent. There is a wide variety of craft and commercial beers, including 100 islands brewery beers, and the best happy hour in the west end. The service is friendly and attentive; Kate made guests feel welcome and even had the kitchen adjust the nachos to crispy fried potato slices. The design and layout is open and cozy. The only complaints were that they didn't have Smithwick's Red Ale, and the wait time could be a bit longer than expected. Overall, it is a dependable pub with good vibes, good food, and a solid drink menu.
