The Clarendon was very nice and had great ambience — we had the Katsu Chicken and the tomahawk pork chop — both outstanding — Server was great as well — would highly recommend this restaurant in Byward Market.
We went to this restaurant for dinner. Even though the restaurant was not busy and we were seated quickly, the service went sadly downhill from there. We waited ages to order our drinks and then waited a long time to get our cocktails. The waiter did come over to advise that he was still waiting on the drinks but suggested we order the food. Thinking it would also take ages, we ordered, but in this situation, the food arrived at the same time as our cocktails, showing the poor...
Literally nothing bad to say. Was a bit early, got sat no problem. Cozy tucked a way table but still a good view of the aesthetics and ambience. Services was fantastic, great cocktails and food, but really just felt taken care of from beginning to end.
