This place is the go to if you live in the area, or don’t. It’s an all round go to for those near and far, solid food, solid drinks, homely place, a proper pub. All the servers make you feel at home. With Cory at the helm, Vaiva the ever charming, Josh, Davey, and the Adrian doing the thankless job of cooking the grub (and those unmentioned who weren’t working tonight) all work tirelessly you keep this place what it is, a staple of the neighborhood.
Solid food and service. We got the Halloumi burger and the sliders and both were tasty. We went early in the evening so not a lot a folks there but looks like it would be a fun time when they have music or another event going on.
This place had been on list of places to try this summer, and I am glad I finally got around to it.
Started by ordering a quart of Molson Ex. You know it's a legit pub in Ottawa when they have quarts available. It was nice a cold and went down great on such a hot day.
For dinner I ordered the double smash burger. It was huge! What I liked best about the burger was it had havarti, instead of cheddar. Just gave it a different flavour.
