I stayed there for 30 minutes no one helped me, I asked someone they said they will then a big group arrived and they helped them first, they just completely ignore me, what a bad service it wasn’t even full when I arrive there was few people

the bartender was condescending and rude, she was laughing at us and calling us freshly of age even though all my friends and i are above 21

The Meat pie was like trying to eat an old shoe. I can't believe they even served this as a Scottish meat pie. I once couldn't walk by without thinking of the great walnut salad, now I will never forget this horrible old shoe pie. Maybe if you are drunk, you wouldn't notice.

Food is generally mediocre. The beer list is nothing special, with limited craft offerings, though this location, unlike some others in the Oak chain, does (or did) offer one good hazy (but not local) IPA from Collective Arts.

No pub is perfect but it was quick service, nice waiter, and interesting music played by the dj.

We got the artichoke dip and naan and it hit the spot.

The food was good, because it was late during the night on Thursday, probably not enough staff to give all customers the attention needed, again late on Thursday the atmosphere just wasn't there.

really nice patio in the summer and warm fire inside in the winter. they often have specials available as well as a decent variety menu with mix of veggie and meat options.
black and blue salad is awesome with real blue cheese and medium rare steak strips.

Brutal service. Was yelled at and bullied by your server. Unacceptable. Horrendous. I’ll never be back and will now not recommend anyone to go here.

I was there with a group, and we were in a separate area, which was great so we wouldn't disturb others. However...
1. The music was too loud so we had difficulty talking to each other. Ruined the whole point of our finally getting together for a social event for the first time since Covid.
2. Only one waitress for the group, and she only worked with 2-3 people at a time. Then left, came back later. Also not enough menus on the tables, so by the time I got to order food, others had already finished and were leaving.
3. Ordered fish and chips, with salad substitution. The fish was disgusting. Breading was thick and soggy. Pulled it off to just eat the fish. Salad was fine.
4. The waitress forgot the tartar sauce, and took forever to come back to the table, so food was cold by the time I was able to flag her down and get the tartar sauce.

Overall, a huge disappointment. Will recommend the group not return for any future events. Will definitely not come back myself.
