Toro Eats and Treats

Great food (grabbed a bowl and it was delicious and fresh, also loved their cookies), great service and space. One of my new favourite spot for lunch!

I have been to Toro twice - once for just treats and today for lunch and treats and each time the service and food were wonderful. There was a mix up with my treat order on my first visit and when I mentioned it today while being cashed out by the owner, she was apologetic and offered me the item I originally wanted for free. She didn’t need to do that but was very kind enough to. I appreciated the gesture. The treats are delicious - can definitely be shared as the portion sizes are big. So far, my favourite cookie is the lemon cheesecake. I had the crunch wrap today and I enjoyed that as well. The portion sizes are good for the price you pay. I will definitely visit Toro again and will recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

Super cute lunch place, lots of seating and the staff are so warm and friendly. The food is incredible and you get a lot of value for a lunch place. I also recommend the breakfast and the treats (obviously!) but they also have little hot sauces and coffee beans for sale too.

This place is now my favorite lunch spot. We had the taco trio today and they were by far the nicest tacos I’ve ever had. Ingredients are all super fresh and the flavor of the meats was off the charts yummy! The last time I came we had the bowl with pork belly and omg it was so good. The guacamole is really nice as a side as well. If I feel like eating lunch downtown, I will always think of coming here as it’s healthier than most options around and always so great! The staff are also so nice and make the place even better.

Used to be good but they can't get your order right anymore. Long wait times, very noisy. I won't be coming back and had to leave without my order because they messed it up.

(Edit in response: I had no guarantee they respected my order and they refused that I go back to the line to repeat my order and check that they made it right. They are minimizing the mistake, and insisted that I accept the wrong order.)
