Everything about this place was amazing! The tortas were the best we’ve ever had - super flavourful and authentic. Drinks were also amazing. Service was friendly and attentive, music was great. 10/10

Very happy to have found Torta Boyz simply walking around Chinatown. Small building nestled on a residential street.
Limited seating inside, but some tables on the terrace almost double the dinning space. It's a popular stop, so definitely recommended to make a reservation ahead to avoid the long waiting list. Bustling and vibrant atmosphere with friendly service.
The asada fries with barbacoa de res and the watermelon mojito were delicious. The tinga de pollo torta and pastor torta were so flavourful and juicy. The portions are big and perfect for sharing, or bringing back home in doggy bag.

Great tacos. Fill with lots of meat and good flavor combinations. Cocktails were tasty and the spicy margarita had a nice kick to it. Didn’t have room for the loaded fries or churros, but will need to go back again!

The star of the show for me was the carne asada sandwich — unbelievably flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The meat was tender with just the right amount of char.
If you’re in Ottawa and looking for Mexican food done right, Torta Boyz delivers. Great atmosphere, amazing food, and good vibes all around. Highly recommended.

Not many options, but they are good. The asada fries were delicious and great to share between 3 people. The cauliflower tosta is good. Margherita is the bomb.

The cauliflower torta was delicious, also shared the fries (they can leave off the crema and cotija to make them vegan). It was a lot of food, next time we’ll plan to take leftovers home. Their spicy margarita was also great, they use cucumber in there so there’s a nice cooling element to it.
It’s a small space so make sure to make a reservation.

This is one of the best restaurants in Ottawa. I went here for tacos a while back and still think about how good it was. I’ll definitely be going back at some point. I recommend this place for sure.

This restaurant came highly recommend and did not disappoint. Started off with a regular Margarita. It was tasty and refreshing. We ordered the Salpicon de Puerco to start. The portion was huge! Definitely more than enough for 2 people. My friend ordered a Tinga Taco & a Taco Carnitas as her main and said they were both excellent. I ordered the Carne Asada torta, since everyone raved online about it. It was simply decadant and exceeded my expectations. We finished with the churros and they were perfect. The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was lovely, my only criticism is it could have been a touch brighter. Found it a bit too dark for eating. Overall, great first visit and I will be suggesting it to others I know.
