Best tacos I’ve had in Ottawa! The loaded fries are also amazing

From the food and drinks to the service and the ambiance, I honestly feel like I’m in Montréal whenever I eat here. It’s definitely become my favourite restaurant in Ottawa. Everything on the menu is to die for and the spicy margaritas are some of the best I’ve ever had. We were there on a Wednesday evening and it was so lively that I would’ve thought it was a Saturday evening!

Fun little hole-in-the-wall spot! Servers are lovely and tacos were amazing. Highly recommend that you reserve a spot in advance as walk-ins can be tough

I had a torta carne asada for the first time and it was amazing! They were very generous with the portion size of meat, which was tender and flavourful. The bread was nicely toasted, and the toppings were well-proportioned to balance every bite. The price was very steep however; I would expect some sort of side or drink for a $27 sandwich.

Best torta and tacos in Ottawa! The torta was huge, and each taco was packed with delicious fillings. The place isn’t very big, so you might need reservations during busy weekend. I really like the interior, light and the overall vibe like in bar.

Torta Boyz is absolutely worth the hype! It can be tough to get a table because it’s so popular, but that’s for a reason—the food and drinks are phenomenal. We were so grateful that the owner was kind enough to seat us as a walk-in for two, and it made our night. The Mezcal Rita was incredible—fresh, balanced, and easily one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while.
The food is on another level. It’s the kind of flavour you simply can’t replicate at home—bold, fresh, and generous. The tacos were absolutely packed, and the Asada fries were the perfect indulgence. Everything was delicious, reasonably priced, and so satisfying—we left full and happy. On top of all that, the service was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Torta Boyz has easily become one of my go-to spots, and I can’t wait to come back!

I asked for my torta without spice and without pineapple and they added it, the avocado, they forgot it and the pastor meat had too much oil.

Best tacos and margs in Ottawa. Great service as well. Good to make a reservation as it’s a small space.

First time I didn't want to finish my food, not because it wasn't good, I just didn't want the flavour to end. Heard about this place through a friend, I was in the neighborhood and decided to give it a try.

Right away we were warmly greeted by the staff, the place is very welcoming and atmosphere is wonderful. When they took out order they took the time to go through their menu. I opted for asada fries, the spicy chicken taco and the brisket taco. The asada fries were truly loaded, don't waste your time with fast food chain loaded fries because this is how it's supposed to be done. The pickled onions on top were the cherry on top.

When they brought the tacos, I understood why people loved this place. It isn't overpriced, underwhelming slip that most places sell these days. These tacos were hefty, loaded to the max and filled with amazing flavours.

When I took the first bite out of my chicken taco, I immediately realized that the corn taco was fresh and perfect. The chicken was very good, slightly spicy but very filling.

And then I took a bite out of the brisket taco, and this bite took me by surprised. It was perfection, the meat has delicious charring on it and perfectly seasoned. This is where I paused and didn't want to finish the taco.

Hats off to the owners, they clearly know what they're doing and we need more Latin style restaurants like this in the city. Forget all the rest, you want tacos or tortas, come to torta Boyz.

My Torta was great, but my wife's fish taco was small. We sa other fish tacos that were a decent size. Atmosphere and service were great.

Tacos were small and both my beef tacos (brisket and AAA chuck) were quite dry. The pork taco was good but at ~$10 a taco I’d expect them to be much better. Place is highly rated so maybe I just got some from a bad batch. Very expensive nonetheless so probably won’t be giving them another try.
