Uni bar and grill has been running for over 60 years and have been serving food and drinks for a very good price!

Went to have a late breakfast. Place was totally empty and I now understand why. The server seemed surprised I was there. When I ordered they didn't bother to ask how I wanted my eggs. The food showed up fast enough (it was fine) but it felt like I had to coach the staff on waiting. There was no offer of condiments or spreads for toast. I got no offer for a coffee refill etc. Meanwhile, the staff sat around and loudly watched YouTube on their phone overtop of the already loud TV.

Not impressed, First time was amazing , it has seriously gone down hill. Food was not appetizing at all . Waiter has the most unfriendly, unwelcoming attitude .

Honestly, I do not like to be the type of person to leave negative reviews… HOWEVER… I recommend you staying away. I watched the owner come out and attack a young lady in her car for parking in her driveway. She grabbed her by the throat and pulled her out her own driver’s window and then proceeded to beat her up. I called the cops gave a statement and left. PLEASE BE SAFE AND AVOID THIS PLACE.

When I arrived at this place with my friend, it was empty. One of the staff was loudly chatting on her phone. As soon as another one of the staff arrived, there was consistent yelling, things getting banged around (loud noises, not sure what was going on). It was very concerning to witness, and extremely awkward as it was just my friend and I and the staff arguing (which moved from inside the kitchen, to one of the tables, to the cash). I was also charged more than was listed on the menu for what I ordered, but at that point I didn't care because I just wanted out. I would not recommend this place with how things are right now.

the place is out of control. constant shouting and complete instability. an extremely uncomfortable environment to be in… especially to eat. this is meant to be a place for students it seems, and honestly if you’re already stressed out with school, coming here may only stress you out more. the food is mediocre at best, and severely overpriced for what it is. a lot of issues here that are really concerning. can’t recommend enough to skip this place and maybe just go to Father & Son’s instead.
The most disrespectful attitude I ever seen ! They gave me the wrong item, didn’t make up. They even didn’t care about their menu and the choices in it! Never go there and tell people to avoid it!!!
Parking: There are 4 free spots beside the tavern and street parking. Students, nurses, and doctors just cross the street from the medical bldg.
Kid-friendliness: I was there with my 9 years old grandson and the owner offered him a ice cream treat. He was sooo happy and it was free, on the house. What a treat for both of us!!!

Very nice place, friendly atmosphere , great service and a lot of food choice.
I went on different times and the service is super. I had a pizza - very delicious and I had a Salisbury steak with sauce and onions and it was very good.

Congratulations to the owner, it’s nice to feel welcome in this restaurant / tavern. You meet University teachers, doctors, nurses, and students. Well situated too.
