Upperdeck Chef catered my mother's 80th birthday this past weekend. The food was amazing everyone loved it. He was very accommodating, did check-ins before for confirmation and after to make sure it was to our liking. The portions were large, food is tasty and the service is impeccable! The chicken (jerk and bbq), doubles, mac pie, rice. Do yourself a favor and order from them for your next event or even stop by to pick up some food for yourself. Guarantee you'll love it.

Anil (the owner/manager) is born to work in this profession.

I went to this location for the second time after over a year for doubles! I was so disappointed to hear that they were out of doubles, however, Anils passion and energy are both contagious and definitely uplifted my mood.

He had me try a random combination of African bread with chickpea curry and dressings. I enjoyed the way he was able to turn just an empty visit into a food exploration journey.

The food that this little truck serves is enough to have me recommend this to all my friends, but when someone serves it with so much love and hard work; it truly highlights the essence of a small local business. Definitely will be back in less than a year. :)

The Owner, Anil is such an all around great guy! He creates an awesome, welcoming atmosphere. He's pure sunshine! I tried doubles today for the first time. I have tried a few different meals here. The food is always Very delicious!!👌

We had an amazing experience. Came in from Montreal just to try this and ordered a mix of everything. We were not disappointed. The doubles were great, the jerk chicken rice and peas hit the right spot! The curry chicken and curry goat was delicious. Strongly recommend you go and try the food there. You will be happy you did. Thumbs up to the owners !

It was my first time at this place and the food didn't disappoint! I've had the fried chicken plate and it was savory, no complaints there. The chef was very welcoming and treats you like family. Great little spot to enjoy great Trinidad food!

Had been forever since I've been able to stop by at the Upper Deck, and the first time at their new location on Innes, and I was not disappointed by the decision. They are always super friendly and they've got the music going to create a fun buzz and atmosphere. I came in for oxtail, sadly they were all out, but they hooked me up with a goat and fried chicken combo and it was delicious :)

I usually don't do this and by this... leave a review. However, I felt compelled to tell the people of Ottawa that this is not a double! The dough was tough and there was no salt in the chickpeas. There was also no chutney or tamarin sauce. My Mom use to make doubles all the time so I am not lying about this review. I apologize if maybe the chef was having an off day!
