What an absolute gem! Ventuno reminds me of my years spent living in New York City! The space is beautiful, from their wood wall to their cloud lights to their funky Scandinavian walnut chairs. Their cocktail menu is fantastic (I tried the Roberto Giovanni and the Scenes from an Italian Restaurant but I'm excited to work my way through the whole menu). Their small plates menu is great - the ricotta crostini is a must try. The staff are just such lovely people as well. Overall amazing experience! I think I found my new go to spot for a drink!!!

Great spot for cocktails and small plates. Particularly enjoyed the negroni and grapefruit cocktails. Great selection of meat and cheeses for boards and all bites have been great. I recommend warm olives, guanciale crostini, and caprese.

The products are top-notch quality. I lived 10 years in various olpart of Italy and I cab attest of the quality of the products . All genuine Italian products. I go for there for the fresh panini and ask for the Prosciutto from Perugia . The selection of cheese is unique in the Ottawa area.

It is so nice to have such a warm experience and support local shops. The Wellington Street location of Il Negozio Nicastro has an incredible selection of everything you will ever need to prepare any Italian dish or meal and all TOP QUALITY — pastas, olive oils, balsamic vinegars, guanciale, deli meats (try the Tuscany ham), biscuits from Italy, cheeses from around the world, frozen pizza dough, prepared dishes. You think of it, they have it. Try the Casatica di Bufala cheese for a creamy custardy revelation. Their pizza dough is great, throw some in the freezer for a quick pizza on a work night at a fraction of the cost of ordering in. I just love this store! We have eaten here in the past, the sandwiches were generous and made with the freshest ingredients. Great espresso bar too.
A family run cornerstone of our neighbourhood and one of our favourite spots! Friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always ready to help! Excellent quality produce, a fantastic cheese selection and many speciality Italian and other products always make a visit worthwhile. The coffee is also great if you are in the area and in need of an espresso beverage and they prepare tasty sandwiches and prepared foods to take home for dinner. All in all, Negozio Nicastro is a gem!

While making your own sandwich is nice the fact is I can't remember what worked and what did not, the fixed menu makes that easier. The service is the same, Sal delivers great service with a smile every single time I visit and the food just as good.
