Stopped by this store as I was intrigued by this store being uniquely polish.I was greeted by Russian music at the entry. Lady working cash was root and very unfriendly and she lost a sale.

Found products I was looking for from Croatia and Poland - wished they had more variety (even more choices).

Great off the shelf products (breads, cheeses, ham and cheese, various chocolates, and tea). The hot food / prepared food is somewhat lacking (dried out pańzcki/fried donuts and mediocre pirozhki). Friendly service.

2 weeks ago we had lunch at your cafe. It's the most delicious in Canada. And no politics, all stuff frendly! We wish you success in business. I recommend it!

They sell Ukrainian products and play Ukrainian songs — and yet right on their window is a massive transparent sticker saying “Products of russia” with an image of the kremlin.
It’s outrageous. Nearly four years into russia’s brutal war against Ukraine — with thousands dead and millions displaced — and this store is proudly advertising their products?Shamefull

Nice place, food seems fresh. We bought 2 slices of cheesecake and was told that the price is by weight. The slices were about 3 inches long by 1 inch wide at a very expensive cost of 31.45$. 1 slice of peach and almond and one slice of sour cherry. They were ok but at 31.45$ for the pair, I expected much, much better. I would say that I can buy much better for about half that. I plan to go back and try the sausage in a bun to see if it compares to the sausage in a bun that the Sausage Kitchen (the business that was there before) . The service was ok. The store is full of fun stuff but that dessert is a definite tourist trap and unfortunately, I fell for it.

Oh My Gosh....authentic Polish food!! We wanted a quick bite and got to enjoy the cabbage rolls, including sour cream. Lots of other European snacks. Definitely check them out

The best sausage, pierogi, sauerkraut in The Capital. Tina and friends served up a feast on Canada Day! I'll be back!

A surprise find in the Byward market despite walking by that area often.
I really like this shop. I found some products that reminded me of my visit to Poland, and gave me notes of good nostalgia and an urge to return.
I also want to thank the cashier, Gabi, who helped me several times to find exactly what I needed. She was really kind and patient, and attentive.
A recommendation.

I was very disappointed with my recent visit to Wedel – Touch of Europe in the ByWard Market. The staff were surprisingly rude and unwelcoming. After I paid for my items, they didn’t even bother to hand me the bag—just shoved the receipt at me with an attitude that felt cold and even hostile. There was no thank you, no basic courtesy, just a dismissive interaction that left a very unpleasant impression. I won’t be returning or recommending this store.
