Nom nom nom! Wish I could eat here more often. Excellent food. Excellent atmosphere. Service is very hit and miss. Some servers are great and should win service awards. Some should be fired. I can look past that though because it’s delicious.
I usually only go for breakfast since they have the best breakfast in the city. But now after having dinner here for the first time tonight, I will definitely come back. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly and you get lots of fresh cut fries and a side of ceaser salad and coleslaw and fresh gravy and pesto sauce. See attached image. All for $21. You can't buy a decent stake for that price. So if you are ever in the Westboro part of Ottawa, go to Wellington Diner!...
Above and beyond!!! Love the old style dinner, with the retro vibe. The food was delicious, yummy and satisfying. Their coffee was really good too!! And the waitress was a cherry on top.
