Located in Westboro, this is a nice small pub with good food. They are gluten free conscious and can make most items gluten free
Had a wonderful celebration dinner here tonight. We ordered several smaller and one larger dish to share. We thought the presentation and flavours of the dishes were thoughtful, creative, and tasty. We really enjoyed being able to see a bit of the action of the busy kitchen and admired the chef's focus and organization in the kitchen during dinner service. Our wait staff were friendly, attentive, and very professional.
I loved everything about this place from the vibe, to the casual but attentive wait staff, to the excellent food. My pork chop was perfection. The non alcoholic selections were extensive. The stairs might be a challenge for some.
Great gourmet food and selection of craft beer. A regular here, great atmosphere
Easily among my favourite brunch spots in the whole region. The perfect food is matched only by the vibe and the wonderful staff. This is a real gem in our city.
I brought my mom here for Mother's Day brunch. I hadn't made a reservation, but they squeezed us in, which was much appreciated. We originally went to Chesterfield's, but there was a 2-hour wait. My mother really wanted an eggs Benedict and WGP didn't disappoint! We had to wait a bit for the food, but it was a busy weekend, and the chefs were running hard (so props to them and their diligence).
Overall, the food was good. My mom had the smoked ham eggs Benedict and was complaining about just wanting bacon, but when it showed up, she absolutely loved the smoked pork it was very tasty. She also enjoyed the mushrooms and tomatoes (very british).
I had the Wellie Salad as posted with the duck confit. The duck was so wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed the layers in the salad and it was so visually appealing. Only thing I wished was it came with a side of potatoes. I didn't get the egg on top (I can't eat them - no big issue), but wasn't offered anything as a substitute. I get it, busy brunch rush. I just wish there was maybe some bread or potatoes offered with the salad. Other than that, staff were great and so was service.
I will come back again for sure.
Excellent beer!
The whole experience was a feast for the senses and quite pleasurable all throughout. The food was delectable, the service delightful and the atmosphere and setting was gram worthy (iykyk). This was the perfect birthday brunch from start to finish and the staff were so incredibly sweet it just added that extra touch of magic. 10/10 Highly recommend! (we had the duck confi eggs beni, the french toast and the avocado toast - I am still thinking about the bite of french toast I had from my friends plate)
We had our work Christmas dinner here, and it was fantastic! The food was delicious—beautifully cooked, well-seasoned, and perfect for a festive celebration. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly for our group. The atmosphere was warm and lively, with just the right balance of holiday cheer. Great selection of drinks!A perfect spot for a special occasion—highly recommend!

Went for brunch recently. Big fan of the location and ambiance. My English breakfast tea was quite nice and service was quick and friendly. I ordered the eggs Benny - it was good but nothing amazing. Slightly disappointed also by the home fries, which were tiny and what I felt to be a smaller portion size. Others seemed to be enjoying mimosas and nice mocktails, which I would have liked to try another time. I’d come back, but I think for drinks only since I wasn’t floored by the food.

We had our staff party here, in the White Room. The food and service were great. Highly recommend!
Went for dinner here last night & was very impressed. The staff are very friendly and the food & wine are delicious! I had the duck tar tar, chardonnay and fish as well as the sticky toffee pudding. Highly recommend visiting this place! Such a cute locally owned restaurant & one of my favourites here in Ottawa! Prices are a bit high but it's worth every penny!

Gastropub has always been a favourite, but last couple of times have been a letdown. Mains have become a bit absurd in terms of size and presentation. Four smallish scallops (which were delicious, but four?) in a bowl with two slices of bacon, a bunch of very bland and seedy peppers, and a yummy creamy sauce. Service was a bit amateur compared to previous visits. Friends enjoyed their braised beef.
