Attended for anniversary dinner for four. Service was excellent and the food was superb! Great atmosphere and will definitely be back. Thank you Sarah for the extra effort in ensuring the Anniversary dessert was so very special!
We attended the reception for our granddaughter’s wedding at Shanny’s. The venue and atmosphere were lovely. From the appetizers to the various entree choices to the desserts, the food was all beautifully prepared and so very delicious! The staff and service were outstanding!

I’ve been here to eat 5 times now, most recently for my own Wedding reception. The food is always incredible and service is always outstanding. Having our wedding reception at Shanny’s was such a great experience and ended up being the sweetest night. Sarah went above and beyond, even helping us plan out little details (custom cocktails, decor, set up). Their pastry chef Daniel made our wedding cake and it was the best cake I’ve ever had. Shanny's Kitchen in downtown Owen Sound is a restaurant offering a variety of dining options, including vegan choices. The restaurant has a unique and eclectic atmosphere, with attentive and friendly service. Standout dishes include the fresh parpadelle, scallops, mussels, and fish dishes, all served with generous portions and flavorful sauces. The mashed potatoes, seasonal desserts, and local ingredients are also noteworthy. The decor is so cute and inviting. The chicken was delicious. The caprese salad and mushrooms were excellent share plates. Shanny's Kitchen is a finer dining option, impressing with delicious food and excellent, friendly service. It is a delicious little spot in the downtown core. The building itself has its challenges as it is an older building but it is a cute little atmosphere and they make it work. The patio offers a distinct dining experience. Shanny's Kitchen is a great addition to the local food scene.
