“I absolutely love this place! Every time I grab a coffee here, I find myself wondering why I would ever go anywhere else. The coffee is always top-notch, and anything food is always delicious (pastry and lunch stuff). What really sets this coffee shop apart, though, is its unique yet warm and welcoming vibe. It’s the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or even get some work done. Overall, I can’t recommend it enough. A solid 10/10!”

“When Sam's came to Kemptville and we tried their pizza, we were hooked. My son in law said it perfectly .: "This is the Best pizza I've had in a long time." I had to deliver to Carleton Place tho. :) The shawarmas are outstanding and filling, The staff are friendly and accurate. Homemade sauce is the secret I think. “omg. this place has been coming up on my Facebook feed for WEEKS now! My husband and I finally had the opportunity to make the trip out from Brockville and it was WELL worth the wait! I could honestly go on and on and on about how incredible our experience was today, but the short version is, the food is VERY inexpensive, for not only the portion sizes, but as well as the quality of the food (I used to swear up and down I made the best spinach dip... until I tried theirs today 😅) Also the amount of customer service we received was immaculate (I am SO sorry, I can't remember your name at this EXACT moment sir - and i feel terrible because you took the time to not only introduce yourself, but ask for our names as well when we said that it was our first time in- but you were incredible!) You can tell immediately that they care so much about what they do here and want to share that love with the community! Hubs and I haven't had the opportunity for a good date out in a while, and this was 1000000% the best one we've ever had since moving to this area. Theyre going to see us there so often, they're going to get sick of us! 🤣 THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!”

“I’ve been to Hyde’s a couple times while passing through kemptville and it always is a place to go and stop as they have creative appetizers, Smokey meals and always large portions filled with the most flavours! They even have vegan options! I always enjoy seeing the manager who comes and checks on us when she’s in to make sure our dining for evening is more than we bargained for. This place is charming and full of life and a gem to visit in the small amount of cuisines that kemptville offers. I appreciate the quality of their food, friendly staff and of course the live entertainment. Worth it to stop by and check it out for yourself. You or your belly won’t be disappointed. 🤤”

“We had a group of 23 have a lunch at Salamanders and I have to say this was one of the absolute best choices I've ever made ever! I live in Australia so navigating finding a space to host my mom's memorial was tricky. Other places looked either loud, wouldn't answer my questions, made me feel like I was annoying them for asking basic questions or had pricey set menus. We had mostly older attendees plus a couple kids so everyone needed to be able to choose what they wanted (but they can do a set menu or limited options for your guests if you want - literally whatever works for you, they will do!) Leeanne (unsure if I spelled that right) was SUCH a delight. She answered all my questions, and so quickly! Through fb messenger she sent me photos, offered helpful suggestions, etc. She set the space up perfectly - the function space can accomodate 40+ but she made it feel perfect for 23, making space to stand and chat, and space to sit and a kids colouring nook! Gorgeous view of the river, and in warmer months you can use the patio for over flow. Restrooms in the space but off to the side. A bar in the space too but they also did Table service. The food was Delicious and beautifully presented. My almost 2yr old needed to run a bit and the staff were so calm as I handled her exuberant moments. The ease and kindness from Leeann was absolutely fantastic!. If I ever need a space for a group of any size in this area we will Always choose Salamanders. Thank you So So much!”

“My husband and I have been here a few times. It’s half way between our home and cottage so we usually stop in for a sandwich to eat when we arrive. I believe it’s the owner who has helped us the most. The food is always fresh and he once took a coupon he didn’t have to. Excellent customer service! We will continue to patronize this business. They are awesome and highly recommend this location. A++”

“So I don't normally leave reviews. That being said this is my family's go to place for Chinese food. Unfortunately on the night I need you to deliver great food, it just was barely edible the chicken balls were hard on the inside and out. The egg rolls were hard and dry, the chow mein not edible way to much of the gravy it like mush. I am not one to complain but when you spend 75 dollars on a meal you want to be able to eat it. Especially when I am very sick and just really want some wonton soup and for my kids and husband get some yummy Chinese food.”

“Went here as it’s close to work and I had the Mc Rib. It was just how I remembered it and really enjoyed it . The service is fast given the amount of people they serve here .”

“There’s only one guy serving here. He provides extremely good service. Very helpful. Very pleasant. The server is very clean. He toasted the subs and put on the meats really fast. The subs here are very tasty. He encourages appropriate toppings and condiments. We sit at the window bench. It’s a rainy day but it’s very enjoyable sitting here to eat my subs.
