“Licks is a top quality burger. This franchise in Parry Sound is a lonnnnng, long way from the Original Licks Experience in The Beach [Queen St East] in the 80s, however.

But the franchise has done a reasonable job in an unlikely location for well over 10 years, now. It still delivers a quality hot charbroiled burger on nice soft bun, with a bevy of fresh condiments, including lettuce, tomatoes, hot peppers, and Spanish onions. Freshly shredded cheddar is available for your burger. Licks special garlic mayo is unique.

If burgers aren't your thing, both their chicken sandwich and signature hotdogs are also excellent.

Fries are available, as is poutine, but the onion rings are the real prize. All three are great - fresh & hot.

The only drawback is the price point - Licks is great, but you pay a premium price. $20 plus.“
