“We went in around 5:30 for dinner. The food is always fresh and tasty. The batches are rotated as they replenish as the patrons eat. We spent about $26 per person with just the dinner buffet, no drinks. The only reason I gave just 4 stars for the atmosphere is that the building is a little dated.“
“I did love their egg rolls, but if you get takeout they give you very small portions. Like their sesame chicken i only got 9 pieces and they were extremely small. UPDATE: I went to get lunch today and they gave me a great amount of sesame chicken. upped my review to 5 stars.“
“We knew this was my mom’s “go to” place for Chinese in Pembroke so when it came time to feed the crew at her 80th birthday party, we chose New Star. What we didn’t know was how well we’d be treated (the owner is fantastic - he helped us with themenu AND saved us money!) and how good and hot the food would be! (the Lo Mein noodles were the hit but it all was delicious!). If you’re in the Valley and have a craving for Chinese food, look no further than New Star!“
