Rocky River is one of Perths little gems. The service and friendly staff far exceed your expectations. Don’t be surprised if the owner pops by your table to say hello! The patio is lovely in the summer and reminds me of quaint little cafes in Quebec City and Amsterdam! Enjoy the fabulous food, and your visit as I always have!
Three of us stopped by for lunch and were so pleased with the fresh daily specials that we shared. The jalepeno yummies (almost like decomposed poppers) were amazing! The 2lbs of honey garlic Nashville wings served with crispy fries were delicious. Our hearts melted with the Bitterballen (Dutch beef croquettes) served on greens. So good! The real thing! The homemade desserts, a chocolate mousse cake and the coconut cream pie, were lovely. Discreet and efficient service and reasonable...
Odd. Almost like they don’t want your business. The food is reasonable for Perth Ontario. But we had to almost drag the server to our table each time we wanted to order another drink - she never came by or asked once. They make lots of money on alcohol. That’s how it works. We were customers. And not once were we asked if we wanted another drink. Just gone. Which was frustrating, and like I said, just plain odd. Also, they were open till 9 I think but a couple arrived at 8:15...
