“The Oak is a great neighborhood pub. Yesterday after work, a friend and I stopped by for lunch. Noah was our server. The professionalism from this young man was outstanding. He was completely on point, and I can't remember ever seeing someone do a better job. He represents the pub amazingly good. This type of service will keep me coming, and I'm recommending this pub 5 stars? thanks Noah!“

“The best wings in Durham!

I've been coming here for over 25yrs. Last night I brought my Mother & Son for Thanksgiving dinner, and I will say it was one of the only times I've ever had an issue. There was an error in the system and we got bypassed after ordering our food. When the error was detected Mike the head bartender explained the issue in detail, and the owner took the time to apologize to us while graciously offering us a gift.

This establishment is first class from the top all the way down to the staff. They regularly have customer appreciation events during Thanksgiving & Canada Day, etc to give back to the customer, and as I said the wings are bar none the best in Durham! I will be a loyal customer for life...

“We had a late family dinner last night, and it was amazing. Our server, Will, was outstanding and he made our night!! We played darts, our dinners were excellent, and we also were able to watch the hockey game. Great night, we will be back!!“

“Had a great lunch with family. The server was pleasant and down to earth, which made the atmosphere welcoming.
Food sèlection is a typical pub menu but with some interesting additions. We had the wings and tried the curry, which was prepared beautifully as the kitchen was open to our request that it be spiced to our tastes (Hot!!..lt was delicious). Will need to go back in the evening soon to check out the vibe.“
