“Absolutely brilliant experience — From food to service, location, atmosphere/ambience, seating arrangement, noise-level, and special occasion consideration. The Dorset is a staple and affordable afternoon high tea spot. Competitors including, Holts Café, Shanghai-La, T-buds, and the Writers Room Bar do not compare. I will definitely be returning for high tea soon, but first, booking an upcoming reso to try out the brunch menu!“

“A good friend from Montreal, was in Toronto today, and an acquaintance who we haven't seen for some time, and Bill and I met for a late lunch at the 'House on Parliament', (454 Parliament St. - west side of the St., south of Carlton St.). Someone recommended to us and it was our first visit there. The staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was great, the food (great menu) was delicious, and the prices were fair! I had the 'Vodka cured smoked salmon' with fresh basil cream cheese, capers, cucumber, red onion confit and crostini. Very fresh and very tasty. The others also really enjoyed their meal too. If you're ever in the vicinity, I would highly recommend going there. Check out their page on fb to see some great pics of the food they serve. We will definitely go back there...“

“I've been to Bramble for lunch and dinner with girlfriends as it's in the neighbourhood, but something really magical happened when we went last weekend with friends. The service was just excellent (Serena, new to Bramble, top of her game, very sweet, lovely and personable). We had the most delicious cocktails and the food was wonderful! Octopus, calamari, oysters, all were fantastic starters and plentiful for sharing. Our mains ranged from steak frites to the burgers and fish - very delicious, tasty. All in all a wonderful night, would highly recommend for a night out with friends. We had the front high-top table in the window and it was easy to talk and mingle, not too noisy. Thank you, Bramble, for a special night!“

“There’s a great atmosphere, staff is very friendly and helpful. We’ve eaten here many times now, the food is top notch and great quality. We definitely make The Feather our local destination.“

“A great little find in the village. Our server (a young, slim guy wearing glasses - sorry, I didn't catch your name) was appropriately attentive; there when needed, but not intrusive, also incredibly friendly.
We had, probably, the best fresh Caesar salad we've ever been served and the rest of the food being presented to other tables looked amazing too. I would thoroughly recommend having a drink or a meal here.“

“We booked to watch a match because they had a big screen but yhe big screen was not working well, pixelated, bad quality and not centered. They said they wete fixing it but that didnt happen... We ended up asking to change table to at least be in front of a smaller TV with good quality image. The waiter was accommodating and let us arrange the tables to our liking and adjusted well. The service was good and the food was okay. Good after hours drink menu as well.“
