“Absolutely brilliant experience — From food to service, location, atmosphere/ambience, seating arrangement, noise-level, and special occasion consideration. The Dorset is a staple and affordable afternoon high tea spot. Competitors including, Holts Café, Shanghai-La, T-buds, and the Writers Room Bar do not compare. I will definitely be returning for high tea soon, but first, booking an upcoming reso to try out the brunch menu!“

“A good friend from Montreal, was in Toronto today, and an acquaintance who we haven't seen for some time, and Bill and I met for a late lunch at the 'House on Parliament', (454 Parliament St. - west side of the St., south of Carlton St.). Someone recommended to us and it was our first visit there. The staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was great, the food (great menu) was delicious, and the prices were fair! I had the 'Vodka cured smoked salmon' with fresh basil cream cheese, capers, cucumber, red onion confit and crostini. Very fresh and very tasty. The others also really enjoyed their meal too. If you're ever in the vicinity, I would highly recommend going there. Check out their page on fb to see some great pics of the food they serve. We will definitely go back there...“

We were recently there for soccer Sunday and had another great time. Our waiter looked after us and all his other costumers in a timely manner. We look forward to our next visit!“
