“I've been to Bramble for lunch and dinner with girlfriends as it's in the neighbourhood, but something really magical happened when we went last weekend with friends. The service was just excellent (Serena, new to Bramble, top of her game, very sweet, lovely and personable). We had the most delicious cocktails and the food was wonderful! Octopus, calamari, oysters, all were fantastic starters and plentiful for sharing. Our mains ranged from steak frites to the burgers and fish - very delicious, tasty. All in all a wonderful night, would highly recommend for a night out with friends. We had the front high-top table in the window and it was easy to talk and mingle, not too noisy. Thank you, Bramble, for a special night!“

“Grabbed a table by the window at The Franklin House around golden hour a few days ago and the light coming in made it almost too easy to get good shots of the food before digging in. The braised short rib was rich without being heavy, and the plating had this nice rustic simplicity that photographed beautifully. Our server clearly noticed I was fussing over angles and offered to dim the overhead light near us a bit, which was a small thing but made a real difference. Parking behind the building was simple too, no circling the block like some spots nearby.“

“It’s mind boggling that people have the nerve to complain during a pandemic, and then after being short staffed. But think about the restaurant staff that went to work to serve you… no one asked for anyone to wait to get seated, while the restaurant was following federal rules.“
