“In all honesty I haven’t sat down since the new owners only because I haven’t found the time. However, I used to come quite often and more for take out or picking up a few items on my way home from the grocery shelves.I walked in today and I felt a bit disappointed to see the shelves almost bare! I used to love seeing what would come in so I could grab to take home (especially some of the chocolates -love the roses). I asked the worker and she just said things were changing and weren’t restocking. I would hate to see the grocery part not be available anymore.I was also slightly disappointed with the pies-there used to be a bottom crust, now no bottom crust, taste is good though. Also the pork and beef rolls are fantastic.I do hope to come in to try out the new menu.“
“The Bull & Barrel has always been a relaxing place . Good food and company. It's definitely not a place if you are a rowdy type. Addendum I still love this place. Nice to see them open on labour day Monday. Sad to see business down due to construction . It used to be 2 seasons. Construction and winterNow it's down to one season CONSTRUCTION ! Sad to see a great place not up to its usual capacity.Today Jan.06/24 had a spill over from our regular haunt. Everyone especially people that have never been there before loved the food ! Made FRESH not from bags of frozen food . You know the Chef "Mike" aka Chef microwave oven. Want real food try it and evaluate the quality. Then you decide.
