I was really disappointed with the service during our visit. We were seated and waited quite a while without being greeted or even given menus. Eventually, another server noticed we had been sitting there and stepped in to take our order, which we really appreciated.
The food itself was excellent and definitely the highlight of the visit. Everything tasted great and came out just as expected.
However, after we had already finished eating and paid our bill, our original server finally came over and handed us menus, clearly not realizing we’d already ordered, eaten, and paid. It was a frustrating experience and made it seem like we had been completely forgotten.
I would come back for the food, but I really hope the service improves because it didn’t match the quality of the meal.

My family and I used to come here all the time and it was always so delicious. Its been about 7 or 8 years since I've been here last, and my fiancee who was with us has never been here before.

The 4 of us went for dinner last night and I have to say, we won't be back again. My parents run a restaurant themselves so I know what good food is, and this was not it.

We started off with drinks, my fiancee got a whiskey sour and I got a water, my parents got 2 Stella's, we tried to order an appetizer but was told it would all come out at once as the kitchen didn't have time to make appetizers first, which made no sense.

Then after we got our drinks, including water they didn't even put ice in, we ordered our dinner. My father and I ordered the 2 piece haddock, my mom ordered the supreme footlong hotdog and my fiancee ordered their cheeseburger. We all got no side with our meals except for my dad, because we also ordered their izzys crazy fries to share (the item we wanted as our apetizer), which was also very small. The server took our order and left, about 15-20 minutes later the food came out and we were not impressed.

They used tiny 1 oz portions for the tartar sauce, the 2 piece fish looked like 1 piece cut in half, i think they were about 3oz each, it was overcooked and chewy.
I ended up sending it back and getting the basa fillets instead, which ended up being even smaller! My fiancée's burger was bland and had no flavor at all, my moms hotdog was barely warm, and the worst part came when the bill was brought.

We had 2 bills, ours and my parents. My bill was over $50 because they charged us $12 for a whiskey sour, and also full price for our meals, even though we got no side. My tiny base fillers which looked about the size of chicken fingers, was almost 17 dollars, and my dads 2 piece haddock was 21 dollars! Their bill was over $80 for barely any food!

I heard that new owners took over but they seriously have no idea what they're doing. I'd give 0 starts if that was an option and we will never be back, don't go here if you want good food

*update* My dad and mom both ended up getting food poisoning last night from the food. Please stay away

Food was good but very over-priced, considering the small portion size.

I took my bestie out for her birthday. We got a bunch of appetizers, it was delicious ❤️ food was excellent, service was welcoming and also excellent. If you haven't visited yet. I highly recommend. Thank you again 💓

My husband and I tried to check this place out the other week. When we arrived it took 10 mins to be greeted and sat, another 20mins to see a server that said “I’ll be with you soon” when we asked 10mins later we were met with attitude. My menu also had a dead fly smushed on it which was disgusting. Ended up just leaving and going to the place next door where the service was 10 times better.

This local restaurant is under new ownership, so it's a great opportunity to support a local business. The owner and staff are kind, welcoming, and friendly, which made for a pleasant experience. That said, the food quality and overall cleanliness could use some improvement. I hope these areas are addressed, as the restaurant has potential.

Snacks, onions rings and sweet potato fries 5 out of 5 stars, service - the owner Silas, came out to check on us and the other guests and wait staff were very attentive 6 out of 5 stars!, atmosphere 5 out of 5, the patio is an excellent spot and you can see a submarine across the way. We will be back.
