Waters Edge Restaurant Reviews
Beautiful place with natural beauty
Birria taco shells completely fall apart, would better be served in a bowl. The salad is grocery quality at best. Stop by Foodland instead.
Live music was the only nice thing about this restaurant. The musician was great.

An incredible lunch at Water Edge today! The food was extraordinary and absolutely stole the show, you can really taste the signature and passion of someone with a special sensitivity for flavors leading the kitchen. The lakeside atmosphere is beautiful and perfect for relaxing with friends over a great wine and a spectacular view. On top of that, our server was both quick and warm. The Waters Edge Restaurant offers a mixed dining experience. Some customers have praised the delicious dishes like the watermelon crunch salad, lamb sirloin, and pasta primavera, as well as the excellent service and live music. The restaurant boasts a great location by the water, which can be enjoyed when dining outside on the wharf. The ambiance is often better outside, with the views adding to the atmosphere. The food is consistently praised, especially the steak and frites, and rainbow trout. Recent reviews highlight the good drinks such as espresso martini, old fashioned, and aperol spritz, which are worth the wait. Appetizers like arancini and watermelon salad are described as next-level awesome. Main dishes can be hit and miss; fish tacos are good, but the steak frites and lettuce wrap may disappoint, with the latter featuring pork belly instead of shredded pork and non-crisp lettuce. The Korean Chicken sandwich is very spicy, with hot sauce overpowering the flavor. The service is often highlighted as a highlight, with attentive and friendly staff like Sienna providing excellent recommendations and making the experience more enjoyable. Despite some inconsistencies with food, the restaurant’s great location, good drinks, and welcoming atmosphere make it a popular choice for visitors to Lake Joe.
