Had the smelt and pickerel bites. Could see Lake Erie from the patio so it seemed appropriate. The pickerel was good but the smelt were delicious as they were tender and savoury. They made for a pleasant surprise.
Our experience..opening time around noon, weekday. Beautiful patio with a great view of the marina. Inside bar setting is your standard pub with the games on, very large area, lots of seating. Our server on the patio Aug 5 was very friendly and knowledgeable, quick and efficient. We had popcorn walleye bites (best of the day), Erie smelts (very addictive, order two next time), and the dinner pan fried walleye, very soft and tender. If you are in the Port Colbourne area, this place is a great option by the water to sit and have a drink or a bite to eat while watching the boats in the Marina coming and going. They have a nice sized patio with umbrellas, which are optional. There is a nice bar to belly up to and additional seating inside the restaurant.
