“Excellent café in the Port Dover area! It's located off the strip, in a residential area, down the street from the Farmer's Market. I can't remember who told me about this place, but I subsequently started following their fb page and their offerings looked so tantalizing, that I made it a point to come here and visit. They also serve light lunches, but I came here for the sweets. They have a cute, covered patio where you can enjoy your food. However, during my visit, I saw lotsa locals swing by to grab takeout! It's not cheap (cake slices ~$6), but the Urban Slice that I had was FRESH, not too sweet! I would've loved to have picked up more items, but I just came from the farmer's market with a pack of butter tarts, so anything else would've been OTT. Cute place with quality baked goods!“

“I recently visited the Ivory Fern and had an amazing experience. The restaurant felt extremely welcoming as soon as you walked in, The employee was extremely helpful and very friendly . Not to mention, the food was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to go back for another visit.“

“This place surprised us with the price point! This is a decent place to eat. You get a well-balanced meal, mostly served with salad and buns. Once you add a couple alcoholic beverages, the cost does climb. Aside from that, we are fans!Parking: The lot is tight to get around in, and the restaurant is probably full if the lot is.“

“Second time there, second great experience. Group of 8 glad we showed up 5:00 on a Tuesday as it soon filled. Had the wings with Newfie sauce was one of the best tasting I’ve had. Ran out of the beer I was ordering the only downside but probably a nod to the place’s popularity. No problem with second choice. Server Linda was very friendly, attentive and efficient. “Today I was in Simcoe for a stress test and I had time to go for a quick bite between tests. My daughter who was at home in Brantford Googled your Cafe and sent me the info. So I walked over and ordered a ham and havarti sandwich... let me tell you..... omg, it was absolutely the best sandwich I have had in a while . It was so tasty and fresh and loaded with mouth watering goodness. I'm now back in Brantford and craving another and unfortunately for me I do not drive, but next time I'm in Simcoe I am making a stop at your little nook .
