Drive thru is a flippin trap .. debit goes down constant here so be prepared to be stuck in the drive-through trapped like a prisoner .. pro tip .. use the grass along the fence and you can pass everyone .. encourage it .. reach out to me if you’d like to fix this

So we get off the 401 for a bite and we order Mc chicken with extra mayo and crispy Mc chicken they put extra mayo on the wrong one not a big deal …. When we open the boxes they were a mess mayo on the side lettuce all over … were thinking today’s kids can’t even get the condiments in the centre .. we had 2 double cheeseburgers from the value menu ( the guy at the till didn’t even know what the value menu was … anyways I opened up my cheeseburger and the ketchup was all over the top pickle laying beside just disgusting… I took it back and asked for the manager and I said your guys are playing games with the food back there … I said this is totally unexceptable and he hummed and hawed and said I can make you a new one and then our ice coffees has sugar in them … back again to get replaced … the French fries were fine 🙃if they can’t do the job right fire them because your losing customers.(I wish I had of took pictures)

I was dining at your restaurant with a party of 12, including both adults and children. In order to accommodate everyone, I picked up an extra chair from a nearby table. Before I even had the chance to stand, a senior staff member (a woman) came up behind me and, in a very rude manner, demanded that I move the chair back. The way this was handled left me and my guests quite uncomfortable.
I fully understand if there are policies regarding moving furniture, but I believe this could have been addressed in a more respectful and professional way. It was disappointing to be treated in this manner while simply trying to ensure that everyone in my party had a seat.

How very disappointed we were!! After asking to make sure it was hot and fresh, as we left the parking lot it was totally NOT ... so agry paying for food that is not fresh 😕

so i came to this mcdonald’s and it was the worst experience of my life!! i repeated my order MULTIPLE times and then was asked about chicken nuggets?? literally silenced my vehicle because where did that come from?? then i got to the window and repeated my order once again and the child who was working looked at me like i was crazy! didn’t even say a word to me, just shut the window in my face without correcting my order!!! THENNNN, they told me to go to reserved spot number 2, and when i did there was already a car!! THENNNN to make matters worse they told the car directly behind me to also park in number two?? THREE CARS for ONE spot is absolutely insane and not okay!! to finish this all off i didn’t get even get my order correctly like i suspected because none of the workers know how to listen (SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY)

Great experience. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The order was made correctly, included any edits we made, and we got the food relatively quickly. Would definitely eat here again.

The Port Hope McDonald's is always my morning stop when driving East, and my afternoon stop when returning. Fast, clean and the usual high McDonald's quality.

My mother attended this locations drive thru on a Saturday at 10:50 with my 4&2 year old. Being told lunch was not served for another ten minutes, she asked to purchase the happy meals, and simply wait for them to be made while she entertained the kids. She was told no, and without choice had to continue through the busy drive thru, without an order. At the first window, a lovely young girl asked about her order, which she said she did not have one due to the circumstances. The girl said it wasn’t a problem for her to wait, took her order and payment and told her to wait at the end of the drive thru. My mom proceeded to do so.
After about 10 minutes a staff member came out and rudely asked my mom why she was sitting there. She explained the situation again… the staff left. Shortly after another employee returned and aggressively said she didn’t have an order because she did not pay for one, needed to leave and walked away. My mom found the order on her interact app, walked to the building now to show the staff her paid for order. The staff said they would make her order. She waited another 5 or so minutes for them to return with her order, and not without further rudeness that she drove away from the second window and the entire issue was her fault.
I am beyond beside myself how my mom was treated. It wasn’t just one staff member, it was multiple. The overall rudeness given to my mom, even after paying, is just disgusting. I live close, and frequent this location. I have never in my life been subject to such rudeness from hospitality and service staff, let alone to a paying customer. We will be making the drive to Cobourg after this experience.
