We had reservations for 6 pm tonight. Arrived at 5:55. Left at 6:20. Table next to us arrived after us and had their drink order taken, while the server only brought us water. He was back making drinks as we left, looked at us and didn’t say a word. Not putting all the blame on him as he was a “man be man show”, greeter, server, bartender. We reserved for six as we have show tickets for 7:30. Very disappointed.
We were very disappointed in the service and the food was okay, nothing special. The couple we were with ordered a beer, waited 20 minutes for that and we were informed our waitress didn't have Smart Service and the other waitress was too busy. I ordered the daily special which came with a side of fries and a drink. I was never offered a drink and at the end of my meal ordered a coffee. The waitress informed me that was not part of the deal and charged for the coffee, very poor customer service.
The service was extremely slow and when the meal came we had to ask for cutlery. We had to go looking for the waitress to ask for our bill. Definitely won't be going back.

I've been coming here/getting take out for dinners while on an away job for work. It's a very reliable restaurant with some good options. Friendly staff and good food.

We went to this restaurant last night with a small group of family. I had not been there since 2019. Railside used to be highly regarded, but changed ownership I believe several years ago. The meals last night were simply awful, without exception. The onion soup had virtually no onions, only a lot of croutons and a weird, crumbly cheese. It tasted incredibly bland. Other dishes were equally bland and the proportions small. The chef should have at least a passing familiarity with seasonings and spices, but he does not. The service was satisfactory although there was only one waitress for about 10 tables and she was overwhelmed. None of our party of 7 will ever return there. It was ghastly!

Portions went way down hill wouldn't even bother for the price
Went in on a Sunday evening for a casual date night. There are 3 doors to the restaurant and we were confused as to which one was the proper entrance. We came in what was considered the "casual dining" side. No signs or indication to take a seat or wait to be seated so we walked in past the other two entrances where we were finally greeted and asked if we would be dining upstairs. Still not knowing the difference, we said yes, and were seated immediately. This is what is consided the "fancier side" of the restaurant. The menu was not the one we vetted before heading over which was a surprise. It leaned heavier into the Greek fare.
I ordered the gyro dinner with a Greek Salad and baby red potatoes. The potatoes were amazing, the Greek Salad was nicely seasoned and the gyro was served on a pita. My main complaint was the tzatziki they used was very runny. So it unfortunately added little flavor to the dish. I suggest they switch their supplier.
My husband ordered the Cajun chicken and ribs. The chicken is a flattened and breaded breast. He found the chicken to be under seasoned and did not taste like Cajun. The ribs were OK, he called them "pub quality". He would have preferred if they were finished in a bbq or open flame to give them a smokey flavor.
For drinks my husband ordered a Coors Light and I had a non alcoholic daiquiri. The daiquiri was nice my husband found the beer tastes a little watery though that's not necessarily the restaurants fault. He may just not like Coors (his words).
The restaurant itself was clean, and the two staff present were attentive. Definitely did not have a bad experience but with a few improvements this place could definitely achieve 5 stars. As long as you are expecting a casual dining experience.
Thank you for the lovely evening.
Parking: Restaurant has its own lot. Plenty of parking available.

Cigarettes smoke noticeable during first 10 minutes on second floor but food and service is quite homey.

Great wait staff horrible cooks. Can't make and over hard egg, and then argue with me and his waitress that a runny yoke is good enough over hard. Not the first time with this either.
Good selection, fair prices, good service

Restaurantji Recommends
Felt very rushed even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. Food tasted old as in sitting under a heat lamp. Very disappointing for the money spent. Do not recommend.

Very sweet blonde haired waitress, with tattoos on her left arm served my partner and I. She was attentive, pleasant and ensured that we had anything we needed!
Keep up the great work!

It was a cool place but I ordered the waffle breakfast expecting a fluffy Belgian waffle or at least a homemade waffle however I couldn't help but chuckle when I was served 2 eggo waffles along with my sausage, fruit, and home fries. Menu was a tad deceiving in that manner as I would've ordered a different breakfast meal if I had known they were just gonna be eggos
