The Boat House Restaurant Reviews
The food is usually very good. Depending on the server, the service can be really good, or HORRIBLE. I've experienced both, although mostly good. ( I try to steer clear of the young servers...yikes, they're bad)
The bar area can be noisy, but the dinning area is pleasant.
we had a surprise birthday party for my mom at the Boathouse this past weekend and had a fabulous time!!! the food was delicious (big portions), the staff were amazing and very helpful... Wonderful ambience, would recommend!!
Nice lunch on the patio!
Great peach lunch.

The Boat House Restaurant offers delicious food, including fish and chips, fish tacos, and burgers. The service is generally excellent, with attentive and friendly staff, although there have been occasional issues with seating guests promptly. The restaurant's atmosphere is pleasant, especially with its lovely patio that provides a relaxing view of the harbor, making it a nice place for a dinner outing. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service provided, and the menu options are plentiful. The restaurant also has a selection of local beers and unique touches, such as handwritten bills, that contribute to a memorable dining experience. Some recent feedback highlights both positive and negative experiences, with mentions of well-prepared dishes like the perch and chip dinner, which features a satisfying light panko breading, and the unique dill pickle fries that are a flavorful twist. However, there have also been concerns about the size and cooking of certain fish dishes, leading to disappointment for some guests. Overall, The Boat House Restaurant is worth a visit, especially for those looking to enjoy a waterfront meal in a charming environment.
