We ordered a double cheeseburger, fried pickerel and chips, chowder, steak, and a lobster roll. The prices were a bit too high, likely due to the tourist-heavy crowd and the fact that the restaurant is only open from summer to fall. A small cup of chowder was $18, more expensive than what I’ve had in downtown Toronto. My 4th time visiting but was disappointed with the porterhouse steak. Was supposed to be 45oz for $150 which was sharable for 4 people but what came out was hardly enough for 2. Left feeling we got a terrible value. Avoid the steak! The sides were small for the price (salad, slaw, chips). The seafood we ordered was received well (snow crab, pickerel). Stick to the seafood.
Went for a private event (wedding), and we were absolutely spoiled, with the food, drinks and service. They did everything to make it such a cozy and memorable experience for the guests. The food was delicious!
