About The Inn at Lake on the Mountain

The Inn at Lake on the Mountain offers a cozy dining experience complemented by a wonderful wine selection and great food. Guests can enjoy a mortadella & pistachio sandwich, quiche, and the highly praised Reuben sandwich, all set against the stunning backdrop of a provincial park. The location provides breathtaking views of both lakes, with Lake on the Mountain perched 60 meters above Lake Ontario, creating a unique geographic experience.

Customers frequently praise the friendly service and the dependability of the menu, which remains consistent over the years, ensuring excellent quality every time. While the food is considered good and perfect for a light lunch, some diners have noted that prices can rise, with lunch costing over $50 per person when drinks are included. The atmosphere is ideal for an intimate meal, though service may be a bit slow for simple orders like sandwiches and salads. Desserts, such as the decadent chocolate cake, are highly recommended. The restaurant does not provide internet access for guests, which may be inconvenient for those needing to work. Overall, it is well worth a visit for both the food and the breathtaking views.

Amazing views.
Good selection of menu options.

I had the popular farmers platter and couldn't finish it all- it was SO yummy! My girlfriends had the mortadella, and the straccitella tart and both found it delicious as well.
