Aka Oni is an amazing spot for sushi, sake, and ramen lovers. The menu offers an extensive selection, and every sushi dish I tried was outstanding—the fish was incredibly fresh and flavorful. With high-quality ingredients and a great variety, this place is a must-visit for sushi enthusiasts. Highly recommended!

We were there a few times before, but this time was awful. At the start we booked the table in advance, and we waited at the door for 10 minutes, like nobody care about us. The guy was busy on the phone, other waiters acted like we did not exist. We were completely ignored by the waiters, wasted about 20 minutes, nobody showed while we waited at the table, and we leave. Something is screwed in their service. Would not recommend this place anymore.

First Hot Pot experience and it was great! The staff were very kind and patient with us newbies and the food was delicious!

1. Did not give us water or anything to drink except for the one person who ordered alcohol.
2. When asking for water, waiter acted surprised and said “I asked you if you want anything to drink! We don’t automatically serve water or tea!” Of note, waiter did not ask the rest of us what we wanted to drink when he served that one beverage to one person. We actually wanted to order beverages as well but because we were taken aback by waiter’s mannerism we decided to just get hot tea.
3. Served the wrong dish after we have waited extremely long for it.
4. Waited even longer to get the correct dish. Corrected dish had noodles that STUCK to the bottom of the pot. How am I supposed to eat that?
5. 5min after the corrected dish was finally served, we were informed that we only have 15min to finish it. Of note, dish was HOT.
6. Will not come again. The other location is way better.
This is the first time I’ve been to a restaurant that does not even serve tea/water to the table until being actively asked to do so and had to be somewhat challenged. What a surprise :)

Came here for lunch and was surprised that the lunch special comes with a salad, clam miso soup and taro ice cream. I had the sushi and maki set which was alright. The fish wasn’t as fresh as I was expecting for this restaurant. The service was good and overall a great space for catch up lunches.

bad hygene, cockroach fell into our dish. The server acted like they have seen it too often in the restaurant already.

I am worried that the shop did not improve from previous customers' feedback, as in the past people already reported that they got food poison from this place. Many good reviews here might be fake, as at that price, I am sure you have other choices.

Amazing like a jump strait to Japan streets

Food was tasty and presentation was well organized. I liked the variety in the lunch box. Portion size was acceptable. Staff were attentive and better than average.

The only thing was the privacy curtains hanging from the ceiling. They seemed to get in the way of the servers and I also found them distracting.

Food was pretty good. Quite fresh. Service was good. And atmosphere was enjoyable
