Very yummy Mother’s Day cake ❤ Loved the crispy layer at the bottom and the lychee mousse inside was so light and tasty. The heart shape made it feel extra warm and sweet for Mother’s Day. My son loved it so much too! Definitely a cake that made our day special 😊

The Ruelo mousse cake is very good. Texture is perfect and flavour combination is pleasant. We sprinkled some gold dust on top to make it more interesting. We did not dine in, but the store looks pretty cute and we wouldn’t mind stopping by for coffee and dessert next time. Looking forward to getting more birthday cakes from this shop.

Drove by for a quick cafe stop and found this hidden gem. They have a lot of delicious desserts and friendly environment. The interior is small and have limited seats. I had to try all their croissants first so I ordered one of each for take out. Next time I would try their ice cream, egg lava tart and coffee. 👍

Unreliable Service … DO NOT PRE ORDER FROM THIS PLACE
I’m a long time customer of Ruelo, but recently the cake quality has gone down and the service is absolutely horrible.
I had pre ordered a cake a few days ago and was scheduled to pick it up at 2:15pm today. I get a call at around 1:00pm saying that the cake would not be ready until 5pm.
I gave them a call around 4pm to get an update and the lady said the cake would be arriving in 20 minutes.
I arrived at the store soon after, around 4:40pm but the cake still did not arrive. The employee told us that there was miscommunication between the cake delivery person and the store, and that the cake would be arriving at 5pm. The cake arrived at 5:10pm.
During this time the employee provided no reassurance or updates on the cake.
When the cake arrived she didn’t provide any compensation - just a mere insincere apology for wasting my time.
I’m glad I didn’t need the cake for a scheduled occasion like a birthday party or that would be a disaster.
I will not be ordering from here again, and I’m deeply disappointed by the service.
The green tea sesame ice cream cake and the guava jasmine pear cake are two of my favourite cakes!!

I have purchased cakes from Ruelo quite a few times in the past, regarding their cakes as the prettiest and yummiest in town. However, their quality has been declining drastically recently. I noticed that first on New Year’s Day this year when I ordered their “Blossom” cake. It was not as pretty as the same one I ordered about half a year ago. On March 9, I placed an order to them again for a coconut & mango flavoured cake for a friend’s birthday. When I went to pick up the cake the next day, I found their cake became even worse! It didn’t look like a professionally made cake at all. I should say maybe a cake from a supermarket would be better than this one! Extremely disappointed!
