We've been to Halibut House a few times now. It's not one of my favourite places to go but the food is good and the staff is very friendly. What's lacking is the speed at which the food is served. It always seems to take longer than most places, which isn't too bad unless you are really hungry or in a hurry. Today was the exception where it took close to an hour to get our food and we had to bring it to the attention of the waitress before anything was done....
This place serves the best fish and chips in town! The fish is perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the flavor is spot on. The atmosphere is very clean and welcoming, which makes for a relaxing dining experience. Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, adding a warm touch to each visit. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious, authentic fish and chips!
The halibut is the best I’ve had in this region and better than some places on the pacific coast I especially enjoyed the thin batter on the thick pieces of halibut That’s the proper way to enjoy amazing fish and chips! The only disappointment was no refills on drinks
