9 Best Coffee Shops in Sault Ste. Marie

“First I’d like to mention that I’ve eaten here several times and it’s outstanding. I’d continue my patronage 100%. That being said, I’m compelled to write a review this time as my most recent experience was less than average, and I was disappointed. We attended there on Saturday Aug 16th, I ordered the Halibut and the portion was small as well as overcooked, the fish was hard and tough. The stewed chick peas were tasty but didn’t complement the fish well and the tomato salad was cold making the rest of the dish cold. I appreciate the effort but it wasn’t a cohesive dish. For $45 it was not worth the price. I had the peach, mozzarella salad with coppa and again I was disappointed. Peaches weren’t grilled or sautéed, just cut up with the mozzarella and dressed with thinly sliced coppa and torn basil, and chili crisp, nothing special and again it could have used something else to be more cohesive and for $24 I was not impressed. Ice cream sundae was tasty but the again it was cut up peaches over soft serve. Drinks were good. I’ll go back again because as stated above the food is almost always impeccable but this visit was disappointing. Cheers.“

“I always come to the Trunk Road Starbucks because they know how to make the Frappucinos right and they always do a fantastic job. All the workers are fantastic at this location and are always so friendly whether you are in the drive-thru or in-store!

“Get more bang for your buck go to the Starbucks in Pinos get fresh! They are awesome and get my drink order right 100% of the time! Also it's more affordable there than if you go to the Starbucks anywhere else. So worth it! 12/10 recommend.“

“As a student, I have become a semi-regular within the past year and I’ve never once had a bad experience here! The employees are always extremely nice and I have developed friendly relationships with a few I see often! Some notable employees go above and beyond to make me feel appreciated, not just as a customer but as a guest. Within the past year they’ve only given me an incorrect drink once, which was during the busiest time I had seen. I hadn’t cared enough to bother them during the rush, but I would be surprised if they were anything but helpful.

Although the staff are quite a highlight, the building itself is very much average; this is not at fault to the individuals. There is only one booth I enjoy sitting at, as it’s the only non-wooden seat in the Starbucks. This is coming from someone who spends upward to three or four hours at a time here. There are a wonderful amount of electrical outlets available, but the public wifi seems inaccessible to myself and others. It is available yet it doesn’t seem to work.

All in all, it’s my favourite Starbucks in town, with great staff and well made drinks! I highly encourage people to visit!“

“Wandering Canadian review! By sheer chance I needed to stop here (only 1/5 thru a long road trip) and I'm sure glad I did.

It was turning into one of those days where things weren't exactly going right for the team. But damn, they still kept a smile on their face and did everything they could to make the customers happy.

Seriously, I even got a surprise sandwich.
