“I dined at Sandro's while home for Thanksgiving with my family. The food was amazing! I had the buffet, and everything was delicious. It would be nice if there was another salad besides Caesar, and perhaps a dessert besides jello, but I still recommend the buffet. Staff was friendly.“

“Driving through Sault Ste Marie on our way back to Haliburton and stopped in at Fratelli’s for dinner. So damn glad we decided on this restaurant as there were quite a few to choose from.

They don’t take reservations but we were seated within 15 minutes of arriving and proceeded to order from our attentive and friendly server, Mary. Knowing we were driving for 6 1/2 hrs the next day we opted for a large pizza so we’d have leftovers. OMG! Their large pizza is MASSIVE!
The pizza itself was so good. They even had vegan cheese for us to add to the pizza which was a bonus.

Pizza was sauces to perfection (not dripping with sauce but still enough to add flavour, the additional toppings were not skipped on either.

Friends that we met ordered some pasta dishes which they loved and they were big servings too.

It was pretty quick from ordering to receiving our meal. We enjoyed our dinner and our conversation without feeling rushed. Mary even took the time to take a group pic for us on my iPhone.

Dinner for 5 was $175.00 but we had leftovers that will feed all of us for at least one more meal. Great price in my mind!!!

We plan on making a stop here each year on our way back from our Saskatchewan road trip.

I think he needs to brush his teeth! lol 😝 This is the best pizza in the Soo and some of the best pizza I’ve tried in North America and I travel!! I remember growing up eating this and Mrs B’s, back then the two places were almost identical. Something magical in this sauce and dough… I highly recommend this pizza if you haven’t tried it yet. These are the same old recipes I remember from my childhood. The Italians do it the best!! The food is a great value. I’m a foodie and always get a full pepperoni and cheese pizza to take home with me. Unfortunately it’s a days drive away so I don’t get to enjoy it as much as I would like. My Mom gets me this pizza as a treat when I visit and she ordered it this time. Mmmmm good old Mom!!“
