The Train Station Reviews
Ride was smooth. Guests were friendly. Colors were beautiful. Walks to falls very doable. Enjoyed the whole day. Picked up tickets day before at train station and visited gift shop. . Had dinner at Mill steakhouse night before our trip. Terrific mini-vacation.
Did the Agawa Canyon Train this past Thursday. It was great overall but the trip for 90 mins of a quick walk was not what I completely expected. Understanding it’s a tour train but the trip up or back could be quicker allowing more time in the canyon. I completed the beaver and bridal veil falls but the opportunity to get in the lookout was way beyond the chance to get to in the expected time. The Train Station offers a memorable train tour through stunning scenery with vibrant colors of orange, yellow, red, and green. Guests enjoy smooth rides and friendly staff, making the experience pleasant overall. The trip includes walks to falls such as Beaver and Bridal Veil Falls, which are accessible and allow visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Many visitors appreciate the opportunity to pick up tickets at the train station the day before and explore the gift shop. Dining options are available, with some guests having enjoyed dinner at Mill Steakhouse prior to their trip, making it a great mini-vacation.
However, some concerns have been raised. While the views are spectacular, there is feedback suggesting that the train trips could be quicker to allow more time in the canyon. Visitors are advised to move efficiently to see everything, as the train leaves on time. One negative experience involved staff behavior, where a guest was treated rudely for having outside beer in the dining car. The staff's unprofessional attitude and lack of clear communication left a dark impression on the trip. Despite these issues, the overall experience remains positive for many, especially due to the beautiful scenery and enjoyable rides.
