Today we ordered mutton curry with bone in it and chicken roll. The mutton was horrible, poor quality awful tasting species with nothing but too much tons of chilli in it. My husband couldn’t even eat a spoon. I had to throw away the entire gravy. The chicken roll was another level of scam. There was only 1 tiny piece of chicken in it, everything else was overly spiced potatoes, it should be called potato roll not chicken roll. Absolute waste of our money and time. This place gave us the worst food experience!!! Avoid!!!

Oldest tamil spot in scarborough.. you can expect to get fed even late.They were known for the cheap eats but in recent times they hiked up the prices like a dinning restaurant. I guess due to heavy competition in the area, I noticed babu have started combo meals to attract clients.

I bought 3 pounds of dhodal from them. One of the box had man hair....since it was thick and short ( seems like from barb or mustache) ....then we tasted from other box and it's disgusting. It doesn't even taste like dhodal....waist of $$$

The food isn't the same and overall a big disappointment. Appam was freshly made but tasted awful. The coconut jaggery sweet, we call it dodol was terrible and had a thick black hair. The taste were no one near to how it supposed to taste. Spent a little over $50 for something I couldn't enjoy. Huge disappointment and it's just not the same anymore Babu.
