Duckworths is a Scarborough classic. Best fish and chips in Toronto! Great, friendly service too. The place is dated, given the patina of lots of happy customers dining there over the years. Excellent cole slaw.

Prices are reasonable and competitive. The generous portions feature light & crispy batter and thick, perfectly fried fries. The menu is simple and uncluttered with excellent choices, and the decor has stayed the same for years. This great generational family business has remained the go-to spot in the GTA since the 1950's. While parking can be challenging, the food's quality makes up for it. However, wheelchair accessibility may be difficult. Located in a small plaza with various stores, Duckworth's Fish and Chips is a no-nonsense restaurant that sticks to its model of great food at good value. The staff are all so friendly, and the food is impressively fast, fresh, light, and delicious. A nice spot for quality fish and chips.
