We recently hired Mayettes for our small gathering, and they exceeded every expectation. From the initial inquiry (3days before) to the day of the event, their communication was prompt, clear, and professional. Tita was accommodating with our requests, helped us refine the menu to fit our guests’ needs, and made the planning process surprisingly stress-free.

Aside from the professional and friendly service, the real standout was the food—it was absolutely delicious. Each dish was perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and served at the right temperature. We had guests that commented on how much they enjoyed the food and asked where we ordered from. We ordered the Beef Steak (with lots of sweet onions), Chicken skewers, Pancit with lots of veggies and Chicken Lumpiang Shanghai with just the right amount of sauce!

It’s rare to find a caterer who delivers both exceptional service and incredible food, but Mayettes did exactly that.

We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer who truly goes above and beyond. We’re already looking forward to working with them again in the future.

Authentic filipino food! The foods are worth every penny, it’s so good that you’ll definitely order again! The owner is very accomodating, kind and very nice. Mayette’s catering services never failed to meet my expectations.

Mayette’s food is the best, each dish is very presentable in the eyes and very delicious! If you’re in the search for good Filipino dishes in Toronto, Mayette’s Catering Service is a great place to order (especially for celebrations and events)!!!

We called the owner a day before and were told they don’t have any dine in. And we usually need to book a take out at least a day before so they have time to prepare. But they still prepare the food for us: chicken adobo and fried pork hocks . 38 $ in total and definitely enough for 2 ppl. Really kind and friendly service, the adobo is amazing, and pork hocks skin is so flavorful. These is a park near where you can enjoy the food as part of the picnic.

I visit this place a lot since I work nearby. I like how the customer service is always excellent and they keep the spot clean consistently. Rates are fair and they serve generous portions.

We ordered from Mayette’s earlier this year for my boyfriend’s birthday and again for the holidays. The food is so delicious and the portions are large. Mayette is a pleasure to speak to and is always so kind when we are ordering. We’ve pretty much ordered the entire menu. If you need catering, do not hesitate to contact Mayette’s. We will definitely be ordering again for any future special occasions!

It is unfortunate that I have to edit my post and change my review.*Warning: Please always double check the price on the menu before paying*I was given a pamphlet of Mayette's menu which I took home. I was looking at it today and to my surprise, I realized that the food that I had ordered was only suppose to be $10.95 for the Pinakbet and $10.95 for the Sarciado. At the end I was charged $13.95 per item which I paid and gave tip for the fact that she had made the food from scratch. I paid $30 in cash - I didn't even ask for a receipt because I trusted her. This means that I paid $6 more than what the menu states.Due to my excitement of eating the food, I never looked at the menu, trusting that someone from our country would treat us with honesty, kindness, and respect. I was not made aware that I was being charged more than what the menu states. I also was not told after giving tip that I was already over charged. I really wouldn't have minded paying the increased pricing but the fact that I was not made aware makes me feel that someone that I am already paying stole from me?!I am not sure why this happend but it was very disappointing for me to realize that someone from our own culture would treat their own people in this way. But I also wonder how other cultures who visit this restaurant are treated?Perhaps it's the fact that I don't speak our language or that I did not show that I was not in touch with my roots that made her believe that it was okay to do this? However, I do not believe that this is something that I deserved even if I do not know our culture very well. I will not be trusting ordering from this restaurant again. This was my previous review which I now take back:I have been missing my culture's foods and came here to satisfy my craving. What I didn't expect was to be brought into nostalgia. Mayette reminded me of growing up with my grandmother back home. She provided that feeling of love and care while cooking my food. I loved how she cooks her food fresh. The statements of her food having the true authentic filipino flavors were not wrong! Very grateful for this experience and happy to have gone here to satisfy my desire for our home country's food.

We went to Mayettes for the first time and really enjoyed the food. The palabok had the richness and complexity of flavor and the lumpia was very tasty and crunchy. Will definitely go back again.

A very friendly Filipino restaurant. The food is of course delicious, and the owner, the lady, is very nice and kind. Even though I called without knowing it was a holiday, they accepted my order. I agree with the extremely high evaluation.
