Food is great but the lacks the soul of a deli. First off the food was great, strong smoked meat sandwich you can tell they are influenced by MTL Swartz's. But as someone who frequents deli's, they lack the soul and feel. White tiles, random tables, and furniture. Adding in in-seat ordering would also help. If you look at some of the premier deli's they have a character and worth. If they can get this right they will become a true 5-star experience.
I've been really missing Schwartz's lately and didnt feel like driving 6 hrs away to Montreal. Found this place recommended on reddit and WOW. Completely identical to Schwartz . I ordered the medium fat smoked meat sandwich and it was moist and juicy with the perfect seasoning blend. The place is so unassuming and owned by the most down to earth mom and pop. I'm so happy to have found this place.
