Smoky Cactus Reviews
Stopped here on the way home from hiking a section of the Bruce Trail and let me say...oh my gosh was this ever a great find! It can be difficult to find something vegan, aside from a beyond burger or french fries, but the Smoky Cactus had my back :) I had a smoked beet chimichanga and it was fabulous ❤️ I cannot recommend this cute eatery enough! If you are in the area you should totally check it out!
Three couples went for dinner two days ago at 5:30 p.m. Our extremely young waitress refused to serve a second cocktail to a woman in our group. The Smoky Cactus is a hidden gem that serves authentic Mexican cuisine, delighting the taste buds of its guests. The restaurant's Sunday Breakfast is a must-try, and can be paired with a cold cerveza or Spicy Margarita. The welcoming atmosphere created by the friendly staff makes it a great spot for both kids and adults. While there may be a short wait, the unique dishes, such as the chicken tinga chimichanga, elote starter, and tacodilla, are well worth it. Diners should be sure to save room for the delicious churros for dessert.
Customers have praised the outstanding food and service, describing the Smoky Cactus as a "hidden gem that shouldn't stay hidden." The patio seating is a highlight, providing a pleasant setting for enjoying the varied menu, including the popular three-taco platter with a choice of beef, pork, and chicken fillings. While some found the beef slightly dry, the house-made hot sauce helped remedy this. Overall, the Smoky Cactus offers a delightful dining experience, with a range of dietary-friendly options that keep customers coming back.
